Little Joe Skipa
Little Joe was a nice stallion we had started our breeding program with and he was from Rawlins Wyoming. Joey was the last colt Sharon and Loyd Quimby had from an old time mare, Ice Capade Lady who died at age 26 a couple months after giving birth. Joey was extremely talented and we really should have shown him beyond our local schooling shows. Joey is a gelding now and was last seen in Utah, living with a family and retired as a trail horse.
Yoyo S Tonka Freebuck
Yoyo S Tonka Freebuck, aka “Tonka” a beautiful buckskin stallion who is the sire of Steel N Scotch, a black mare out of Rickie. His dam was Snoopers Yoyo, a paint mare that lived to be 33 years young and was used as a therapy horse for children. Gentle demeanor runs for generations in our mare line up. Tonka was very rideable and gentle and a pleasure to work with. At first he didn’t have manners in the pasture so the mares taught him a few his first breeding season; he was then quite shy.
